Before you save evidence

--Write the claim in one plain sentence.
--Keep the source URL, capture time, and visible publisher context.
--Mark what is observed and what is only inferred.
--Do not keep unnecessary personal data in the working note.

Before you share a report

--Check the date and whether the material may be old.
--Look for a second source or a reason why no second source exists.
--Add a confidence label instead of overstating the finding.
--Remove details that could create harm without improving the analysis.
